*A pitbull ban is a city's way of saying "We hate black people."
*When humans are more important than animals, animals and humans prosper.
*Legislation doesn't work because the people who obey laws weren't a problem in the first place. Laws tend to punish responsible people and actually increase the number of people who live outside the rules and who refuse to behave responsibly. Thank God for those people, too, because without them we would still have Prohibition and bad laws would never be repealed because no one would care.
*What kind of society allows such lowlifes to define policy, anyway?
*Ending animal cruelty is a bad idea. Don't believe that any activist is going to have the sense to stop before they have substantially reduced the population of pets. When you get right down to it, when you really look at it, as Wayne Pacelle said, they don't want another dog or cat born. Any population is "overpopulation" to them. They only use cruelty as an excuse to take away our pets, service animals, and livestock.
*Putting animal rights ahead of human rights only has the effect of giving power to animal rights zealots.
*A hundred times worse than a "puppy mill state" is an animal extinction state in which we are forced to become vegan because animal rights groups like the HSUS have fooled our legislators into thinking that they support animal welfare, a state where human rights are disrespected in favor of an illusion of humane treatment of animals. The whole game is about disrespecting humans, using animals as an excuse.
*When I was able to figure out what I wanted to say, I started to be honest: I support breeding. Breeding creates good things and good situations that are worth enough to more than compensate for problems like abusive breeders, bad breeders, the occasional accidental death, or even abusive shelters. What was the attitude towards life that said otherwise? Life has value in and of itself."
*The HSUS and it's cohorts are nothing but common criminals, organized crime putting on a pretty face.
*A person who does not eat meat has absolutely no moral superiority over me and it offends me when they act as if they are superior to me because of their dietary choices. It offends me even more because I once went for that kind of humiliating treatment.
*Every carbon dioxide molecule contains, obviously, two atoms of oxygen. Every molecule of free oxygen contains two atoms of oxygen. There is five hundred times as much oxygen in our atmosphere as carbon dioxide, as carbon dioxide runs about 387 parts per million and oxygen runs about 200,000 parts per million. That means that at any given time the amount of carbon dioxide that plant life has successfully processed is about five hundred times as much as the amount that is left in the air.
No HR 669! Let us keep our pets!
HR 669 is one of the worst bills being proposed this year. It would require proof that most "invasive species" that are kept as pets are not harmful. It requires pet owners to prove a negative. There are thousands of species including exotic birds and fish on the chopping block, and other than domestics like dogs and cats, anything that is not put on a "safe" list will be banned and you don't want this kind of crap.
We especially want to reach Democrats because the Republicans are all opposed, but encourage the Republicans to vote against it too. These would be your representatives, as this is a house bill.
